On Friday the second, I was on my way to work when the engine light went on in my car....of course this freaked me out cuz all I could think about was the fact that this light was on and I might blow up in my car......I definitly didn't want that, so I drove about 15 min more until I got to Norwich where I met a friend of mine who works with me.  The only problem with that was....that whenever we get together thats all we end up doin....forgetting everything else going on and just chill together......lol....So anyways, we got into her car and tried calling out of work....I hate those damn voice mail things that make no sense......so the point is that I couldnt figure out how to use the voice mail system....So I ended up physically going into work to tell them that I was calling out for that day....stupid yes, i know, but responsible! right??? lol....I got to work, my boss was in a meeting, so I wrote him a note explaining that my car had broken down and I needed to get it fixed so I couldn't come into work today.....after that, my friend and I drove back to her house.....talked a little, watched a movie, slept a little.....Then decided that we wanted to go to Six Flags......So were on our way to Six Flags when I get a voice mail on my cell phone.....The woman from HR called me and said that "my ties of employment have been terminated and plz dont return to work on Tuesday".  Yea, that made me a little bit angry that she tried to fire me over my voice mail...So we ignored it and continued our trip to Six Flags.  We got there......this is where our day from hell continues.  First, it started raining....that was only the start.  Amy and I got on our first ride of the day, the Thunderbolt.  We got on, threw her backpack on the side....blah blah blah....so when we got off the ride, we decided to go over to the water part of the park.  Amy wanted a drink so we went over to the bar.  She went to open her bag to get her ID only to notice that this was not her bag!  This was just wonderful.....She had her money, license, school ID, 2 season passes, not to mention her car keys!....the ones we needed to get home with!.......So we went right to the lost and found and then Human relations and then to the other lost and found on the other side of the park.  We spent 4 1/2 hours looking for that damn bag.  Finally we decided we just really wanted to go back home.....We called the locksmith and had him come out to the car.  This man had to make us an extra ignition key...which by the way cost me $65!!  Anyways, we finally got back to connecticut and she dropped me back at my car.  To top it all off, I got pulled over for speeding 3 minutes from my house!!....Now lets go back to the fact that some bitch tried to fire me over the phone.....>> It made me mad that she first of all called me from her own cell phone with her number blocked.....and then fire me over a voice mail??  How professional is that?!?!?.....Well now I was mad.....and I wasnt going to accept a voice mail termination....So i went into work on Tuesday anyways and acted like nothing happened.......After about an hour and a half into my shift,  my boss came up to me and said to go wait for him in the cafe.  So there I sat and waited probably around 15 minutes before the ass decided to come in.  So anyways, he finally came and and sat down and said "unfortunatly at this time, were gonna have to let you go"....."and i'm gonna need your swipe card"........And that was it.  No reasoning behind anything....Stupid me I didnt even bother to ask either....why?  I still dont know.
